Today was the big day: I finally went to Amsterdam. Thanks to my little brother I could go by car and take tons of my stuff with me! Most of it… well, some of it is now already neatly placed in my new room. The rest has to wait until tomorrow.
On the photo you can admire the corridor of the first floor of my accommodation. I live at a student house and luckily have a room with bath and kitchen to myself. It is quite big and when I look out of the window, I can see the university building. No more waking up early and going by train! Yay! I theoretically could just wake up and walk over there in less than 15 minutes (getting dressed included of course). By the way, my corridor on the second floor is turquoise. It seems that the architect wanted me to have a good time in my new home! In a walking distance of about 5 minutes, there is a shopping street with all the shops I need and a metro station. At the weekend, I will explore the area a bit more. For now, let’s see how well I sleep in my new home.
