My inner child was quite busy today because Hanna and I visited Nemo Science Center. We’ve already spent an afternoon on its roof when the weather was nice, but this time, we visited the exhibitions. They are basically made for children and teenagers but we enjoyed ourselves nontheless!
In the exhibition called „Fenomena“ almost everything was really exciting! We made huge soap bubbles, touched lightnings and stuttered. This thing was quite interesting because when you whispered into it, the other person could hear you across the room. It has something to do with sound waves that are magnified.
This is „our daugther“ who was made by experimenting with dominant and recessive genes ^^
In the „Teen Facts“ part, which was mainly about sex and puberty, we learned a few things about ourselves. For example that my music taste reveals that my personality is „upbeat & conventional“ (whatever this means!), that we are great at reading facial expressions and social interactions and that we were really good eye witnesses!
The last part of the center was a bit more „adult“ and showed facts about alternative energies and stuff. Unfortunately, we couldn’t really touch anything so our inner children were a bit disappointed.
All in all, it was a great visit and we will surely come back to try out all the things we didn’t have time for! Especially the ball factory that was occupied by real children.
